This weekend we went up to Bishop, which is by Mammoth, and went for a hike. The actual town of Bishop seemed really cool and we'll probably check it out more when we get back up there. Callie did awesome in the car, and so did Evan. When Callie starts fussing, Evan tries to calm her down and it's real cute. The 4 mile hike felt great! My buddy Christina and I are going to start working out at the gym on base so I'm excited!

Ouchie.
:( I broke my toe. It's feeling a lot better, it just doesn't look like it.
I've been a social butterfly. Went out to dinner with two other Moms I've met and had an awesome time Thursday. I met another Mom for coffee this morning and will meet with her again on Wednesday. Her husband is also an engineer on base so that's cool.
Here are some good looking kids.

august
It's nearing mid-august here and we are settling in to our new home. The weather has been beautiful, the sunsets are georgeous, and my tan in awesome.
Callie is just like her brother, she likes to eat and she's always trying to move. She's not even 4 months old and not only can she roll over, but she can scoot herself around on both her tummy and back using her legs. I'll put her in the crib one way and return to find her on the other side. She is a very serious baby, she smiles and talks, but has yet to giggle despite my very best efforts. She thinks I'm rediculous.

Evan is now 4 and as active as ever! He is enjoying his new school and so am I. If all goes well with Callie, I can usually get all my work in by the time I pick him up at noon. He is still enjoying all his birthday toys and playing outside our new house.
Gareth started his job August 6th and is enjoying it. He really likes the people he's working with and is searching for interesting tours to work on. He'll line up several tours and be able to work on various projects. I'm still able to work for WSU and I'm thankful for that, it will help us out a lot. Someday, when Callie's older, I'll venture out to the real work world but I'm lucky to be able to experience everything that Callie does just like I did with Evan.
I wanted another way of communication with friends and family and hopefully I'll be good at keeping this updated with pictures and literature.
